High fructose corn syrup now accounts for nearly half of the caloric sweeteners added to processed food, and is the sole caloric sweetener for mass-market soft drinks.
Yikes.

WOW I am behind! We have been really busy sorting things around the house and trying to declutter so I was preoccupied with that over the weekend.
Saturday:
- Breakfast: coffee, leftover crustless “Quiche”
- Lunch: leftover Indian, apple
- Snack: local Camembert and TJ crackers; local ACME bread and Cowgirl Creamery cheese
- Dinner: Universal Cafe – primarily organic and local foods: butternut squash pizza with prosciutto, steelhead fish with veggies, wine
Sunday:
- Breakfast: oatmeal with almond butter, currants, milk, protein powder
- Snacks: apple, some of Brad’s steak & frites leftovers, local Camembert with crackers
- Dinner: pizza with butternut squash puree, thyme & prosciutto, pear and berry galette, wine
