Brad and I had an emissions hogging (albeit fun to drive) SUV for over 3 years. Now that we are back in San Francisco and not driving daily, we really didn’t need an all-wheel-drive, larger vehicle. And quite honestly we wanted better gas mileage! This past weekend we traded in my beloved Oslo (my name for the SUV) and came home with a lovely Camry Hybrid!

Driving a hybrid is going to take a little getting used to – that is for sure! But it is a constant (and very fun) game to see what your gas consumption score will be (EXCELLENT so far!) or how your car recycles energy.

I’m signing off for the weekend as we take our new – and as yet unnamed hybrid baby – down to Paso Robles for Hospice du Rhône.
